This is the third in the series of Prime Chronicles it wrapped up all most all the lose ends there's room for some short stories of the side characters that are just left hanging around and the ultimate solution to the problems. I enjoy Monettes stories mostly because they are complete stories if you were to cut out all the sex there would still be a complete book. This was my least favorite of the three because of the nature of the sex contrary to popular belief of all the women I have spoken to very few like animal sex bondage is just a few more. It's not as popular as many writers would have us believe. The story is what carried this book for me I skimmed most of the sex in this one.
On another note there's plenty of fodder for writing at that jump station it sounds like it could be a wild ride . It may be a little to wild for some, but I'd give it a shot just because Monette Michaels wrote it.

I enjoyed this book out of all three the best. I really liked Bria. She is smart, and girly while still being a tough cookie. She knew her limits, didn't try to be all macho and better than the men. But, also was sure to learn how to be a better warrior for her self and mate. I am unsure if I really liked Iloyn this round. Don't get me wrong. He is loving and caring to his mate, but not very compromising. The lov'in is hot, with an extra edge this round. Tasteful, and best of all, not repetative. The best part is a wrap up of evil doing, and putting things right.
From the beginning to the end this one kept me going! As the third book this wraps up the mystery of Primes birth rate issue but what a surprise! This series is a great adventure and written to be enjoyed. The battle scene are written so that you can see it happening as the words one to life. The intimate scenes are not and steamy but balanced with the story. And the male characters are hot hot hot alpha males (just say yum, you know you want to) paired with strong, driven ladies! I loved the book and the series. Will look for more from Monette Michaels.
This was a decent story, but it seemed like every page was constantly describing or explaining how this alien world worked or why they thought what they did. This was the 3rd book in the series so we should have that info by now. I'm also not a fan of drawing out a sex scene for page filler by constant talk or minute description to slow things down. If you get past all that then the story was entertaining.
Wow, reading this book, and the other books in the trilogy, was a real treat. The action felt very real, the characters were very well fleshed out and likable from the very first pages, and I almost felt like I was there on the various worlds with the characters. The attention to detail was impressive without being boringly so and the situations the protagonists sometimes found themselves in were laugh-out-loud funny. Kudos to Ms. Michaels for writing such an excellent series, which I'll be certain to reread again soon. The only downside is that there isn't anything else to follow this book. It was that good!
This is the third book in the Prime Chronicles. I didn't get sucked into the story right away even with the action beginning immediately, but once I got into the story, I was hooked. It was also fun to see characters from previous stories play an important role in this one and get to meet new ones.

Bria has discovered that she is one of the Prime females sent off planet in the hopes of saving the females of Prime from their ancient enemy. At the end of Prime Selection, we found Bria is mated to Iolyn. The adventures begins there and then we go to Bria's perspective.

The mystery of the Prime fertility problems is further explored with surprising results. The Caradocs and their friends are all drawn in. Read, enjoy, I did.
I love this series and cannot wait for more! But my favourite will always be Wulf and Mel whose book is the first bk called Prime Obsession. There are 3 brothers in this series who each have a book of their own who each meet their mates through their gemat markings as their mates will have similar marking to match theirs. What i really love about this is that the women they are sassy, intelligent, beautiful, and most of all women who have combat skills and can hold their own against any man! Which you will see once you get to read the series. The series is action packed from start to finish, with alot of sass, wit and romance! I really hope the next book will be of Damon and Susa!
I've read all 3 books in this series and enjoyed them all, but I hesitate to recommend these book, because it takes the author 2 years between each story, that is a long time to wait for those who have finished the series so far. This is why the author only gets 4 stars from me. She (the author) could be on the top of the space opera/erotica shelf if she focused on the the prime series. The fantasy genre is what people gravitate towards today, probably because, real life is not so hot even in romance. In the fantasy/scifi genre, everyone can go and enjoy a place out of reality, a place were everyone can relate no matter how old the reader may be. A fantasy world where everyone is on equal footing. So Monette needs to get with the game and write. Just my thoughts on the matter. If you are lucky, you are getting ready to read the first book, if you are like me, you have finished the 3rd and sit here wishing for the 4th, possibly Damian story, who will mate with a prime female, and we will see if the mating mark will appear. Damian is very dominant and very prime in everything he does. So here is to the hope of the 4th to come fast and furious to our e-readers .
